3Par storage utilisation

Hi,

We have a 3Par that is configured with CPGs and thin provisioining with VMware datastores. What is the best way to monitor the datastore utilisation against the actual 3Par storage utlisation? We are running near critical on the 3Par CPG in terms of utilisation, and we need to manage the dats stored in the datastores carefully. Increasing the 3Par capacity is unfortunately not an option at this stage.

You can set alerts on CPGs to let you know how close to being full.

With createcpg and setcpg: -aw <percent> -sdgw <size>

setsys allows you to set raw space alerts on FC, NL and SSD.
