Re: 3par storserv sim node reboot error
FIXED
since I started with the original simulator, only a few days later it did get an update to include a missing OVF file.
So, I didn't feel confident, even thought I downloaded the latest, that the correct ovf file was used to create the 2 nodes.
I created 2 new nodes and got the same errors, no luck.
I went back to my esd and tried to do an 'esd stop' It says it was not running or not in a running state. I tried to run it, it said it was already running. So, I figured it was just in the process of doing some cleanup. I left it alone for a while. Came back at it this morning, fresh mind, stopped ESD, recreated the cages, ran ESD, not the OOB experience is working
WOW, eurika. sometimes just gotta walk away from it for a while

Re: 3par storserv sim node reboot error
Getting the same error. And, it is not working by keeping it idle for some time.

Re: 3par storserv sim node reboot error
3par simulator node restart again not able to login
getting below error while loging in node system
SIM: trying to bring up link to 1, addr
trying to bring up link to node 1.
can some one check the issue.
Steps followd to install the 3PAR simulator.
1) Deployed the VM [SIM_Node0, SIM_node1 and ESD_node ] using OVF file in VMware workstation.
2) Once we deployed, we logged in ESD host using user name - Root, password- root. and configured the cages. then start the esd.
2) then we setting up the node0 and restarted.
after that we are facing this issue.
please check and suggest what mistake we are doing while installaing.
