Best Practice to add SSDs for flash cache ?
Hi
We just bought 4 SSDs to implement Flash Cache for our 7400.
Now, the 3PAR has 6+1 Cages but where do i place the SSDs ?
All 4 in 1 Cage, all in the Controller Cage or a any other ?
Or is it better to distribute the SSDs over 4 Cages ?
Does this even matter ?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Re: Best Practice to add SSDs for flash cache ?
Hi
you must always install drives in pairs
so I would put them in the controller node cage
if you have four controllers
remember you can configure 768GB per controller pair
and it is in raid 1
