CPG Usage of a TDV VV
Hello,
I try to report the Usage of a TDV VV in its CPG(s). For normal VVs and VVs with AO enabled everithing is fine, but TDV is net the true value
Via SMC usage it is displayed fine, but via CLI and also PowerShell (which is based on the same command i get a wrong Size:
cli% showvvcpg ISO
-----(MB)----- -New (MB)--
Name CPG Adm Snp Usr Adm Snp Usr
ISO SSD_R5_71_TDV 1024 0 17408 0 0 0
-----------------------------------------------------
1 - 1024 0 17408 0 0 0
I have attached some Screenshots to make it clear.

Re: CPG Usage of a TDVV
What HPE 3PAR OS version?
I'm not sure what you're saying? That the values in SSMC are 200 to 300 GiB but the CLI shows ~17 GiB?
What does this show: showvv -s *-ISO

Re: CPG Usage of a TDVV
Hi,
Thanks for your Reply.
Some additional informations to clarify:
cli% showvv -s *-ISO
----Adm---- ---------Snp---------- -----------Usr------------
---(MB)---- --(MB)--- -(% VSize)-- ----(MB)----- -(% VSize)-- ------(MB)------ -Capacity Efficiency-
Id Name Prov Type Rsvd Used Rsvd Used Used Wrn Lim Rsvd Used Used Wrn Lim Tot_Rsvd VSize Compaction Dedup
104 ISO tdvv base 16137 15258 0 0 0.0 -- -- 291050 239386 11.4 0 0 307186 2097152 8.2 1.5
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 total 16137 15258 0 0 291050 239386 307186 2097152 8.2 1.5
cli% showvvcpg -s *-ISO
-----(MB)----- -New (MB)--
Name CPG Adm Snp Usr Adm Snp Usr
ISO _SSD_R5_71_TDV 1024 0 17408 0 0 0
-----------------------------------------------------
1 - 1024 0 17408 0 0 0
The correct capacity is shown in "showvv" but "showvvcpg" not... Taht happens only on TDV VVs.
