This is why the previous HP engineer said I need to get into WHACK which I haven't been able to do in order to do:

Remember 7400 and 7400C parameters are different ;

I really have no idea what you are talking about. We had a controller go out and we ordered a new one from HP. We recieved it and it has never worked from day one. This is the reason for this ticket. I have no idea what your talking about. We have 2 fiber connections and 2 SAS connections and the ethernet connnections to it. I don't know what a VC module is.
If you don't have VC modules, there is no counterpart for the NICs, hence your problem.
