HP 3PAR 6TB drives in non 3PAR box?
Hi,
I've been offered some "SMKR6000S5xeN7.2 Seagate Enterprise Capacity 3.5 HDD 6TB, ST6000NM003" drives.
Will these only work in a 3PAR storage system or will they work in any SAS enabled server?
Thanks in advance!

Re: HP 3PAR 6TB drives in non 3PAR box?
Dear @Macknade
I have seen this ST6000NM0034 6TB drive listed as supported on HPE MSA.
https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c05307901
So I guess you will be able to figure it out yourself.
Hope it helps.
Regards,
Vikas

Re: HP 3PAR 6TB drives in non 3PAR box?
3PAR disks have a 520 format, so you probably need to re-format the disk first.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
