Host Explorer VMware
Hi all,
I've just updated Host Explorer 2.1 to 3.1.1 and now the serice does not start.
I've also uninstalled and re-installed 3.1.1 but still no luck.
Its installed on Windows 2012R2 and was running fine as 2.1.
Installed and ran as Administrator.
MS Event log records Event ID: 7024
The HEVMwareService service terminated with the following serice-specific error: Incorrect function.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Mark

Re: Host Explorer VMware
Just had a HP email alert regarding Host Explorer, maybe it will fix my issue.

Re: Host Explorer VMware
I've ran into the same issue. Were you able to resolve it? Hotfix posted in the second thread did not resolve the issue.
Thanks.

Re: Host Explorer VMware
Hi,
I've played around a bit with this.
Got the 64bit HE service running after changing to 32bit JDK and set JAVA_HOME environment variable to c:\progra~2\java\jdk[version]
