How many failed chunklets are acceptable ?

During a routine check on our v400 i found that one of the disks has 1 failed used chunklet and 3 failed unused chunklets.

So far, 3par support did not contact us so i think i'll wait until the whole disk fails.

cli% showpd -c 124
------- Normal Chunklets -------- ---- Spare Chunklets ----
- Used - -------- Unused -------- - Used - ---- Unused ----
Id CagePos Type State Total OK Fail Free Uninit Unavail Fail OK Fail Free Uninit Fail
124 3:2:0 FC normal 546 168 1 355 0 0 3 0 0 19 0 0

Re: How many failed chunklets are acceptable?

I think it is about 6 and the whole PD is marked as media failed.

What do these show: showpd -s 124  &  showpd -i 124
