How to determine if we have SFF or LFF disks

Hi,

I am working with a reseller to purchase some new disks for our 3PAR 7400.

They are asking what size disks we have ( SFF or LFF ) ,

How can I determine this without pulling out the disks. ?

Apparently it would have been specified in the original order, but I don't have access to that information

Thanks,

Victor

Um, look at the front. :)

Seriously, SFF (Small Form Factor) drives are installed in a single row on their side:

LFF (Large Form Factor) drives are horizontal in four columns:

Thanks for that.

I thought it was that obvious, but when i sent a photo they came back with that question.

You may have to pull the cover bezels off, especially if you have a mix of device types (NL, FC, SSD). Then look at the spines of the drives which are showing. But yeah, it's that obvious.
