Modify LUN ID when Adding a Volume to Volume Set

Hello,

For ESX machines I created a Host Set and VV Set.

4 systems are in Host Set and 5 volumes in Volume Set.

I would like to add a new volume in VV Set but at the same time, modifying the LUN ID. Is it possible?

Thx.

NTA.

Sorry, no. Volume Set LUNs are contiguous. If you want a LUN number other than the next in the Volume Set series, you will have to assign it to your Host Set separately.

On 3.2.2 you can expand VV sets and hop over used LUNs.  So unless that desired LUN is close by, you're in for a heap of pain trying to add/remove dummy VLUNs.

Not any more for expansion but it would be difficult to get an exact value.
