Notify by email the event logs of 3PAR array

Hi,

I have a 3PAR 7400c with OS version 3.2.2.390 (MU2).

I want to recieve by email the output of the cli comand showevetlog.

Por example:

showeventlog -min 1440 -ntype "Command executed"

Is it possible ?

What other options I have for local notification ?

Thanks in advance.

If you want the above, you need to script it yourself.

Unless you set up a remote syslog server.

I assume the SP can send alerts to you.  Not sure about events.

Yes, I have configured the local notificacion in SP, but it doesn't send me the events that I want.

For example, this events are showed with showeventlog:

Time : 2017-01-14 20:41:30 PET
Severity : Minor
Type : Firmware coredump event
Message : Firmware COREDUMP: recovered file /var/core/hba/fwcore.n00.s01.p01.20 170114.204130 from node 0.

Time : 2017-01-14 20:41:31 PET
Severity : Degraded
Type : Component state change
Message : Port 0:1:1 Degraded (Target Mode Port Went Offline {0x3})

Regards.

Are you getting any events?

Both these events should be sent to the SP.  Unless you have disabled the non-encrypted ports.
