Relocating Virtual Service Processor
I am installing a new 3PAR StoreServ 7200 system. The Service Processor needs to be temporary installed on a VMware Virtual server which will be taken down later. As far as I know the VSP cannot be moved with vMotion due to MAC-address dependencies. How can this be done? Can I reinstall the VSP without disturbing the Storage Systems?

Re: Relocating Virtual Service Processor
Hi
no problem re-installing VSP it does not hold any critical information and it's only use is for monitoring events from the 3PAR and for upgrading software versions.
It has no effect on the storage system.
