Remove disk from 7400 (3PAR 3.1.2 MU1 ) question?

Hi all,

I have 16 FC SAS Disk and 8 SSD DISK in my 7400 (Not yet create any virtual volume).

Recently I remove 8 SSD disk from 7400 online (7400 still power on),

after I remove 8 SSD disk, I login to 3PAR Management Console.. I found Error in Systems Tab.

My question has two..

1. Waht is the correct step to remove good status hdd from 3PAR

2. How to correct this question..

SSH to 3PAR CLI then

S7400 cli% removespare 16:a
23 spares removed
S7400 cli% dismisspd 16

done.

Yes, you need to use dismisspd for each disk.

But using removespare won't be enough if you have already used ootb.
