STIG for 3PAR - Delete Default Accounts?
Come to find out that there is a STIG for 3PAR storage arrays that pretty much directs that you shut off the service processor, only turn it on to use it to patch the array, then shut it back off again. Also, it has you deleting 3paredit, 3parbrowse, and 3parservice users and sets the 3parsvc password to a new random value.
Like most STIG-related items, this just....feels....wrong. Can you even re-attach to the storage array if you delete the 3parservice account from the array?
Thanks,
Joe

Are you talking about disabling non-secure ports? SP 5.X solves that with 3.3.1.

Not sure, you could recreate it when you need it.

Re: STIG for 3PAR - Delete default accounts?
Well, both actually. One item has me disabling non-secure ports which accomplishes basically the same thing. The other has me actually shutting it off.
