VVOLs on HPE BL460G8 - No visible storage container

Going through the motions of setting up VVOLs with BL460 G8's and a 3Par 7200.  Have created a self signed cert for vasa and started vasa on the 3Par.

As far as on the hosts I see the protocol endpoint when running esxcli storage core device list --pe-only -> It's showing the 3Par WWN and VVOL flag set to true.

3Par is registered as a storage provider within vSphere, and when creating VM policies I can see the CPG's, etc...

However, following the HPE docs, when I go to create a datastore that is backed by VVOLs, there is no storage container to select from...confused as what is going on here...

Latest firmware and drivers are installed and apparently supported via the VMware HCL.  Time is also in sync between vCenter, ESXi, and the 3Par array...

Any thoughts/help???

Has the storage container been created through SSMC or CLI?

Re: VVOLs on HPE BL460G8 - No visible storage container

Actually that was exactly the problem...

after runnign the following I had no issues

createvvset <name of vv set>
setvvsc -create set:<name of vv set>

Didn't see this in the VVOL guide though, however I did see mention of it in the ESXi guide...

Anyways , all is well now!
