servicemag on F200 Failed - "could not bypass mag"

Hi,

yesterday a young sysadmin on my team replaced a failed drive with new one on our 3Par F200 before run the servicemag procedure.

After he realized the mistake, swapped again the drive (remove the new one, put the old failed drive on same location and than run the servicemag procedure... again).

Now the console show this error:

Malmsteen3par01 cli: servicemag start -wait -pdid 4
Are you sure you want to run servicemag?
select q=quit y=yes n=no: y
servicemag start -wait -pdid 4
... servicing disks in mag: 0 8
... normal disks:
... not normal disks: WWN [2000B4525360661B] Id [ 4] diskpos [0]
... relocating chunklets to spare space...
... bypassing mag 0 8
Failed --
could not bypass mag 0 8
servicemag start -wait -pdid 4 -- Failed
Command failed

How can I solve this problem? This is an old out-of-support Fclass model and I can't find more info about it.

Can I try to suggest something like this?

- put the new drive again
- use the admithw command to register new hardware
- try to run a service mag resume (or moverelocpd to relocate data)
