3PAR Storage LUN
Dear Expert,
Question: 3PAR able to create Metalun ( EMC)?
example: i will create 5 x 200GB LUN, combine it into one LUN and it becomes 1TB.
Does it achievable in 3PAR 7200.

Are you asking if you can
1) create and present 5 x 200GB LUN to a host, and
2) have the host OS combine them into a single LUN?
Sure. But unless the OS has very small LUN queue depth settings such that performance would be impacted with a single LUN, why on earth would you want to do that?
Most OS file systems can now handle an expanding partition. It would be far simpler to create 1 x 1TB LUN and present that. If you need it larger, increase the virtual volume size, then at the operating system do whatever is needed to have the file system increase the size of the partition.
