3PAR tunesys Issue - HP 3PAR 7400
Hello Gurus,
We have had a 3PAR 7400 array with 144 drives installed. We have recently installed 48 new drives on the array. However to distribut the data we have started tunesys. The tune sys has found 700+ tasks to move ( 4- intranode & rest are LD tuning tasks). The tunesys task is running from last 7 days and has progressed to 13% so far.
Our issue, is that the old drives are getting filled up as we are adding data to the array( snapshot getting created & expired ones are getting deleted). We have also observed that compactcpg is getting failed as tunesys is in progress.
Can someone tel us, is it suggestible to stop the tunesys for now and run the compactcpg so that the space can be released.
ALso can someone explain the consequences of cancelling a running tunesys? How much time does it take to cancel the tunesys task ?
We are at INFORM OS 3.1.3MU1.

I assume it will complete the current chunklet(s) and stop.
>How much time does it take to cancel the tunesys task?
I would assume it would be pretty quick, unless your system is under a heavy I/O load.
