cannot connect to 3par 7200
Hello,
we have a problem in connecting to the 3par.
MC just hangs. Putty prompts for login name and when it is entered it does not go to prompt for password, just hangs until timeout. VSP connection to the 3par times out, inSplore collection times out.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

For the MC hang issue we need to login as root and restart few services.
Hence i would suggest to contact HPE support to log a support call.
I work for HPE.

There was a suggestion from experience that there may be reached the maximum number of connections.
We disconnected the management LAN for an hour - nothing changed.
Well, three days later the disk array rebooted itself and all the infrastructure lost its disks.
Luckily there was no data corruption or loss.
The inSplore does not show anything that could have led to the reboot.
Hopefully the issue will not reappear and was solved in later versions of InformOS as we are planning to upgrade to 3.3.1 in a month or so.
