In-adequate Storage Sizing Tools

HI,

It's noticed that sizing tools available whether its Storage Sizing Tool or even NinjaStars both of these tools are not effective in calculating exact storage size as they do not use formatted capacity. This leads to problematic situations when we need to show a performance report to a prospective customer. If we increase the no of drives in order to match the intended capacity what customer has asked, sizer shows capacity much more than that.

Is there any plan where HPE tools start using the formatted capacity of the drive when doing capacity sizing.

Re: In-adequate Storage Sizing Tools

Both of the tools you've mentioned shows formatted capacity TiB (for storage sizing tool you can set it in options, for NS it's default TiB).
