Showports giving error state on E200
Hi All,
All of a sudden, all the host facing FC ports are in error state. Nothing changed and this is really puzzling. I can understand if it's just one port, but all at the same time? i tried controlport offline and controlport rst, but no luck
Any help would be greatly appreciated! We some data on there that turned out to be not crucial, but critical at this time.

Re: Showports giving error state on E200
Very strange. Any change on switches?

Re: Showports giving error state on E200
No change on the switches.
The first time i looked, one of the port was still showing connected on the switch on FL, i forced the port to F it just drops off completely. Doesnt reconnect when i set the switch port back to auto.
There are other SAN systems on the switch which are communicating fine. Just the E200.
Faulty module?

Apparently.
Definitely time to contact HP Support.
Please let us know what they find.
