"The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen9 is basically a workhorse," said Dan Molina, chief technology officer of Nth Generation Computing, San Diego. "It can truly accelerate certain workloads like databases. … And it has 3 terabytes of memory in a single server -- that's amazing. That's ideal for virtualized environments and scale-out architectures."

Storage – Midrange | HPE StoreVirtual
“The StoreVirtual platform allows partners to deliver "enterprise-class capabilities such as the ability to accelerate apps with flash or increase system resiliency combined with software-defined flexibility for an incredibly low starting point," said Cary Dahl, principal architect at Somerset, N.J.-based SHI International.

Storage Review praises HPE Apollo 4530 server

“What makes the 4500 Series unique, though, is while other vendors might position a single server with vast storage resources or an HA JBOD with two servers, HPE covers that swath and takes it a step further with the 4510 (one node), 4520 (two nodes) and 4530 (three nodes) models. This offers exactly what the object storage guys want depending on how they configure their platforms. “ wrote Storage Review Enterprise Lab, contributor to
