HP Anywhere: Mobile Apps for the Enterprise

Mobile apps are transforming the way we live, work and interact with one another as they become a more integral part of our daily lives.  You, the developer, are on the front lines of an exciting and challenging revolution.

You are on a new journey  to build and deliver mobile apps for enterprise employees. You are on the hook to build faster with more frequent releases, sometimes, daily, weekly or monthly, to provide more user-centric mobile app experiences to drive business growth and competitive differentiation. How can you possibly keep pace? You are already burning the midnight oil to keep up with the demand for building mobile apps – learning new languages, frameworks and mobile technologies. You are wrestling with the whole Native/Web/HTML5 debate to make sure you build the best, most business impactful mobile app out there. Challenging enough as each day is integrating enterprise apps to backend systems and APIs, but now you have to extend those systems in a secure and managed way to mobile apps.

We get it.

We have also been wrestling with mobile challenges ourselves as we too are evolving to meet the demands of a mobile workforce. For years, HP has been helping teams effectively and efficiently deliver enterprise software solutions. Teaming up with a wide range of HP IT developers and architects, we have worked to design and create a mobile app development platform that is designed by and for enterprise developers to build, manage, and deploy enterprise mobile apps.

We are very excited to share an update with our developer community to introduce you to HP Anywhere, an enterprise mobile app development solution. HP Anywhere will help you face and adapt to this massive shift - developing and delivering engaging mobile solutions for the mobile workforce.

HP Anywhere is designed from the ground up for the developer to make it possible for you to deliver mobile apps that enable enterprise users to be connected, productive and empowered wherever, whenever.

As a developer, you are the key to making this shift to mobile a success. You want to be the developer that builds the best mobile apps running across multiple platforms while also addressing business problems. Ultimately, you want to be fast and create mobile apps that are simplistic with just the right amount of functionality needed by your users on the go.

We are incredibly excited about the enormous potential in HP Anywhere as it evolves and iterates. Join us on this journey and become a member of the new HP Anywhere Developer Zone, a community focused on developing enterprise mobile apps on HP Anywhere. When you are ready, download the free SDK to try out HP Anywhere and provide your feedback, experiences and insight.

Hi there,

I am lead the Business Dev for HP Mobility in the UK&I at the moment. We are currently proposing the HP Web Services app store ( previously Web OS) to a large user base - 16K customer .

However this would be the ideal 'dev lab' they are asking for to create the apps.

Is this integrated to with a end to end build, host apps, run, MDM stack ?
