AHC is a managed private cloud platform powered by HPE GreenLake  and features products including HPE Synergy, HPE Superdome Flex and HPE Nimble Storage  - optimized for SAP, Oracle and virtualized workloads.  It is available on premise within a customer’s data center or hosted by Accenture and is focused on delivering hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud solutions options.

Key Use Cases:

AHC for SAP:

Multi-Cloud and Private Cloud models have matured. AHC is application-optimized to run SAP environments in a hybrid cloud environment.  This industrialized, secure private cloud wrapped in HPE GreenLake ( services to provide consumption base pricing allows SAP clients to achieve a better overall total cost of ownership. Key benefits:

  • Enables optimized SAP deployments (Greenfield or S4Hana Upgrades)
  • SAP ECC and BW pre-integrated on AHC
  • Automated SAP DevSecOps
  • SAP infrastructure & application components integrated into Service Assurance solution
  • Small vHANA to 24TB physical HANA scaling

AHC for Oracle:

Accenture recognized the challenges Enterprise clients face that have prevented them from moving Oracle workloads to the public cloud. These include high license costs, latency concerns, corporate governance, and fear of lock in by Oracle proprietary cloud options. To address these concerns, Accenture has developed an optimized a multi-cloud solution providing clients with the ability to run their Oracle workloads in a managed private cloud environment, at reduced costs and increased capabilities.

AHC for Application Modernization:

Clients are moving to a digital world where they need to provide new capabilities to their own clients if they are to keep up with their competition.  Often, their legacy environment prevents this agile approach to servicing clients.  Accenture is helping clients modernize expansive, inflexible legacy environments and rapidly move to nimble platforms that enable digital business – driving more cost-effective offerings to end-customers on cost-effective platforms and enabling agile product development to drive faster speed to market with flexible applications.

Accenture helps clients evaluate their current mainframe offerings and suggests options to achieve platform cost reduction, technology rationalization by proposing Application Modernization solution with application re-platforming to cloud.

AHC for Multi-Cloud:

Accenture’s AHC solution enables clients to adopt a true end-to-end multi-cloud strategy by focusing on the client’s specific Enterprise application requirements and matching it to the most optimized cloud provider solution available in the marketplace.

As the private cloud component, AHC was built as a foundation of a multi-cloud strategy driving value through:

  • Flexibility and neutrality, avoiding specific public cloud lock-in
  • cloud adjacency with high bandwidth / low latency (< 1MS) interconnects to the major public cloud providers (Azure, google, AWS)
  • Leveraging Global fiber-connected datacenter network
  • Multi-cloud management dashboard with governance, security, and cost management visibility across public / private clouds
  • Cost avoidance of datacenter ingress / egress fees – due to proximity in the datacenter

Application-optimized for High-Compliance Cloud:

Accenture’s “High Compliance” application-optimized private cloud brings infrastructure security, compliance and agility to clients in high-compliance industries across the world. It is underpinned by a Data Defined Infrastructure (DDI) platform which provides automated, auditable deployment of hardened infrastructure and overarching operating systems and applications. Additionally, its multi-tenant network architecture enables high isolation of client business functions. It can also be deployed standalone on clients’ existing premises if complete physical site isolation is required.
