Coming home from Las Vegas a winner? PwC did big time.

Like many people, I have the dream of going to Las Vegas, striking it rich at the casino and returning home to life of luxury and ease. Aaaaahhhhh!  It hasn’t happened yet, despite MANY Las Vegas trips – usually to attend one of HP or our industry’s events such as HP’s Global Partner Conference (GPC) and HP Discover. So far, I have only come home with richness of the experience that is Las Vegas (or, better said, a Las Vegas convention).

I was in Vegas again this week attending HP GPC. There was a clear, big-time winner: PwC, one of HP’s largest and most strategic alliance partnerships. Their win made me very happy… almost as happy as that elusive bag of money would have.

WINNER: HP Americas Partner of the Year

As part of this week’s GPC activities and awards, PwC was recognized as Americas Partner of the Year.  This award recognizes the strategic value the HP-PwC alliance brings to joint customers.  For business and IT leaders challenged to transform processes and enhance IT efficiency, our alliance offers service, performance, security and emerging technology solutions that enhance alignment of IT to the business, driving higher value in faster time to enhance the overall business value, and competitive differentiation, of IT.

What does it mean?

It’s not easy coming home a winner from Vegas, so it is appropriate that GPC takes place there. The competition is tough… REALLY tough. All HP alliance partners are eligible, and the list of their names reads like a “who’s who” of IT royalty. The competition is results-based, considering the entirety of how the partner worked with HP and delivered results through joint engagement to bring unique solutions for joint customers. PwC stood out as a clear winner.

What do customers get?

HP and PwC offer a business transformation approach, leveraging new technologies that radically change the way companies compete.  Together, we help our customer’s work, compete and win in their respective industries. This means improving business models, streamlining processes and achieving a greater return on their technology investments.

How you win

Partners receive the awards at GPC, but customers like you are the real winners. You benefit from award-winning solutions that have proven ability to improve outcomes and deliver results, business benefits that simply were unattainable even a few years ago.  Hey, that makes YOU a winner. From now on, If anyone ever asks you if you won big in Las Vegas, you can confidently answer “yes” thanks to your ability to benefit from the advanced “winning” solutions offered by HP and alliance partners like PwC. This year’s awards represent significant business value, but are just the beginning of some great things to come.

NOTE: PwC also won the HP PartnerOne Global Cloud Solution Partner of the Year award at GPC for a cloud-based big data solution built on HP CloudSystem, ConvergedSystem and HAVEn.  Their solution, serving the healthcare industry, is a business-led, technology-enabled offering designed to solve challenges for an entire industry.
