HP iLO Essentials: The Key to Unlocking Remote Management for your Small and Medium Business Server


HP Integrated Lights-Out Essentials (HP iLO Essentials) is a market segment iLO license designed to meet the needs of small and medium business customers.


With increased efficiency, operational cost savings, and faster service resolution time, HP iLO Essentials helps users grow their business with confidence. There are many different customer problems that HP iLO Essentials helps resolve.

Customers can access servers remotely using Virtual Keyboard, Video, and Mouse, with graphical user interface. In addition, HP iLO Essentials makes mobile work possible via the iLO Mobile Application. Being able to access servers remotely not only saves customers time, but also helps save expense with both travel cost and unplanned downtime.


Problem 3: Servers being down slows production. There is a loss of business opportunity from the unplanned downtime, which costs the company money.


Solution 3: HP iLO Essentials helps customers know about all changes and server events as, or before, they happen. iLO Essentials’ Email Based Alerting gives IT staff faster resolution time of remote servers in order to reduce unplanned downtime.
