HPE Introduces Industry-first service to optimize Microsoft Azure and Azure Stack consumption

UrsRenggli

A lot of people have been waiting for it. Now, it’s here … from HPE and HPE Pointnext. The “it” I’m referring to is a new consumption experience designed to help you manage and optimize all of your clouds – both on- and off-premises; public, private and hybrid; including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Azure Stack.

HPE-GreenLake-1600x900.jpgIt’s called HPE GreenLake Hybrid Cloud and it  brings you an automated cloud operating model that leverages HPE’s leading intellectual property and standardizes with HPE best practices, The goal? To help you consume the exact cloud resources you need, wherever the workloads live – while driving improved performance, cost, security and compliance. And by eliminating the need for staff to manage the hybrid environment day-to-day, HPE GreenLake for Hybrid Cloud helps diminish human error and enables staff to focus on innovation.

Responding to a clear need and trend

Hybrid IT is the reality for most enterprises, allowing them to blend a mix of applications, services and platforms, all tailored to their needs.  However, many enterprises struggle with the complexity of operating different private, public and hybrid clouds and having the right skills to oversee and manage their cloud implementation. In addition, many customers lack automation and simple tools to unleash the agility of the cloud, and continuous monitoring of controls and compliance frameworks to manage risk.

HPE GreenLake Hybrid Cloud addresses all of these issues, It sets up processes to manage cloud resources in your environment of choice; establishes specific cost, security and compliance controls; and then manages those resources on your behalf. Unlike a traditional managed service, HPE GreenLake Hybrid Cloud offers an automated, cloud-native model that is designed to eliminate the need for you to hire or train new staff to oversee and manage cloud implementations.

Built to deliver impressive benefits

HPE GreenLake Hybrid Cloud is built on an automated toolset featuring HPE OneSphere and HPE’s software-defined technology to support and operate hybrid cloud workloads. Microsoft Azure Stack is delivered using HPE GreenLake’s flexible consumption model that brings the pay-per-use model to on-premises environments using the HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack.

This is a complete solution focused specifically on Cloud that delivers:

  • Faster time to value
  • Complete, built-for-purpose solutions optimized for cloud performance
  • On-premises solution for security, compliance, and data sovereignty needs
  • Exceptional performance with a fine-tuned environment from HPE Pointnext
  • Less business risk and higher levels of continuity and availability
  • Simplified IT
  • Fast problem resolution with HPE Pointnext experts

The newest member of the HPE GreenLake portfolio

HPE GreenLake pix for blog.jpgHPE is a long-time leader in the consumption market. Based on eight years of experience offering flexible consumption models to customers, HPE Pointnext last year introduced HPE GreenLake, a suite of consumption–based, infrastructure and workload solutions that deliver IT outcomes in a pay-per-use model on premises. With HPE GreenLake, you can access a simple, pay- per-use model, while maintaining control of the IT experience it delivers, with fast onboarding and no capital outlay.
