HPE Qualified Memory Boosts Server Performance
We often get asked, “What is the best way to improve server performance?”
While there are many different ways to improve server performance, one of the best (in our opinion) is to increase the amount of Random Access Memory (RAM) in the server.
In this Coffee Coaching video, Tray Brownfield, HPE AMS Server Options Champion, tells you all about HPE Qualified Memory and how it can benefit businesses of all shapes and sizes.
Why HPE Server Memory?
HPE Server Memory is an essential component for increasing the overall performance of HPE Servers and can be customized by type and capacity to meet customer application workload requirements.
- Performance: HPE offers the best quality memory that integrates seamlessly with HPE Servers. HPE Server Memory provides customers with enhanced performance, increasing data throughput and reducing transaction response time.
- Reliability: HPE Server Memory is tested in extreme operating environments to ensure reliability with HPE Servers. This helps reduce component and system issues which can affect system uptime.
- Efficiency: HPE Server Memory has an energy-efficient design that helps lower overall server power consumption, reducing server operating costs.
And, because HPE Server Memory is available in different types and capacities, customers get exactly what they need! For entry-level servers, customers have two choices: HPE Standard Memory or HPE SmartMemory.
HPE Standard Memory has the HPE quality you expect, and is value priced to help reduce the initial cost of the server. This memory performs to industry designed specifications and is aligned to the HPE Small and Midsized Business server platforms—HPE ProLiant ML and DL (Gen8 and Gen9) 10 and 100 series servers.
HPE SmartMemory provides maximum reliability and performance, delivering a faster return on your IT investment.
- Supports up to 2400 MHz, matching the performance capabilities of the new generation of HPE ProLiant Gen9 servers
- HPE performs firmware and integration testing that enables HPE SmartMemory to operate at higher speeds than industry-standard memory
- Undergoes an extensive authentication and qualification process to ensure compatibility with HPE Servers
- Delivers advanced error detection to improve performance, reduce downtime, and lower energy costs
- Offers enhanced support through HPE Active Health
- Provides a variety of capacities, from 4GB RDIMM to 64 LRDIMM modules
We hope you consider utilizing HPE Memory Solutions as a way to improve your server performance. Visit www.HPE.com/info/memory to learn more about HPE Server Memory.
