HPE demos at VMworld emphasize “show and tell” over “talk and sell”
By Bernadina Mickey
HPE is going way beyond the “talk” at VMworld 2018 to show you exactly what our combined HPE - VMware solutions can do and the contributions they can make to your environment – both IT and business. We’ll have over 10 demo areas at the event, each one focusing on an area or solution that customers like you have identified as being of specific interest.
It’s HPE’s effort to resist the “talk and sell” syndrome that can sometimes dominate these events by adding a lot more “show and tell.” If that’s sounds good to you, I invite you to stop by HPE Booth 1300 at any time during VMworld to check out the action.
How and why?
HPE looks at these demos as ideal opportunities to show you not only the “what” about HPE industry-leading solutions, but also “how” they work “why” they deliver such impressive results. And if you have other questions, you’ll be in luck because our demo area is staffed with HPE – VMware experts who can answer most, if not all, of them.
Here’s a list of some of the technologies and solutions you’ll find:
- HPE Pointnext, featuring the HPE GreenLake consumption model and the complete cloud adoption services offered by Cloud Technology Partners (CTP)
- HPE OneSphere, an as-a-service hybrid cloud management solution that simplifies and streamlines operations to enable velocity and cost efficiency.
- EUC VDI with Horizon View on HPE SimpliVity and Synergy servers
- HPE SimpliVity with the hyperconverged networking solutions from Plexxi, newly acquired by HPE, plus NSX
- HPE Gen10 server technologies with emphasis on PMEM / Security. Demo will feature vSAN on HPE ProLiant DL325 VDI workload)
- HPE Synergy composable integration with VCF / VSAN / CS750
- HPE OneView for vCenter
- Nimble Intelligent Storage – Infosight, + VMware integrations, Cloud Volumes. See what a difference HPE Nimble’s predictive analytics can make
- Data Protection and Security for VM, featuring HPE StoreOnce and VEEAM software. OS Recovery also featured
- 3PAR Intelligent Storage – Infosight, + VMware integration VVOLS
- Servers and storage solutions featuring HPE Nimble, 3PAR, HPE Synergy and HPE ProLiant
Talk that’s cheap but extremely valuable
If you would like assistance in determining exactly which technologies are right for you and how to implement them for optimum results, stop by the HPE vExperts guru bar – also at HPE Booth 1300. These highly trained specialists who meet VMware’s most stringent certification requirements will be provide the help you need. The conversation will cost you absolutely nothing, but the results can be invaluable.
