#HPatWPC -Key takeaways.

This year at Microsoft’s 2015 Worldwide Partner Conference, more than 14,000 technology partners from over 150 countries converged to figure out how to help businesses of all shapes and sizes solve their technology and business challenges.

While Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference showcased new technology innovations, HP had a substantial presence at WPC 2015 through dedicated sessions, booth demos, press and social media, and partner engagement.

The conference kicked off bright and early Monday with the first Vision Keynote. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella began his Keynote presentation by reiterating Microsoft’s mission to “empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.” This keynote presentation also showcased some new technology innovations including various technologies for creating new partner opportunities across multiple areas.

The second vision keynote presentation took place Wednesday morning, on day 3 of the event. This presentation featured many different Microsoft executives and covered four main topics:

  • How Microsoft and their partners can work together to build a value proposition of trust to win in this mobile-first, cloud-first world
  • How the cloud is creating business model disruption at an unprecedented rate and how Microsoft is assisting partners in reinventing themselves to thrive against future challenges
  • What Microsoft is seeing in the most successful partners and how Microsoft is here to help
  • How Microsoft and their partners can achieve more together with an action plan to go compete and win

** If you were unable to attend (or if you want to refresh your memory of your busy week) Microsoft now has highlight videos and Vision Keynotes available through the Microsoft Partner Network.

With so many technology partners attending the week long event, there were many important discussions taking place! We were especially excited to hear announcements made that promise to have an impact on small businesses looking to gain an edge.

The joint initiatives HP and Microsoft have chosen for the future, are bolder and brighter and well-aligned with our partners’ priorities. With these initiatives we look forward to reaching greater heights in the future.

HP winning EPG Cloud Productivity Partner of the Year award demonstrated the biggest Cloud Productivity success story in FY15 and showed that HP is ready to provide access to more cloud-based tools all bundled in one simple bill from a single vendor (who becomes their hands-on partner in cloud computing).

Don’t forget, we want to hear about your time at WPC15! If you haven’t already, be sure to join our Coffee Coaching communities on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and drop us a quick note about your favorite part of the conference.
