Hot off the press from GPC - HPE Financial Services launches Partner Connection API
New interface to enrich HPE Partner Ready Program with IT Investment Online Tools
Today at Global Partner Conference, HPE Financial Services (HPEFS) announced the Partner Connection API, a plug-and-play interface that integrates directly into a partner’s online portal environment. Partners can select from a variety of functional interfaces to help their customers choose how they want to acquire, pay for and consume technology.
“The Partner Connection portal from HPE Financial Services helps us compete,” said Lee Harold, Corporate Financing Manager for global IT and services provider SHI. “We can go from quote to contract in minutes, enabling us to meet aggressive turnaround times and keep our business moving.”
The Partner Connection API has been designed to enable system-to-system integration between HPEFS and partner applications. New interfaces have been developed, trialed and launched in collaboration with HPE partners, to optimize user experience for partners, and their resellers and customers. Key benefits of the new API are included below:
New functions
Online calculator – Virtual calculator housed in partner’s own portal to generate monthly payment. Partners can select from several hardware, software and services options to estimate bundle solution costs.
Embedded quote – Partners can provide their resellers or customers with an integrated HPE and partner solution virtual quote, through their portal.
CRM tool – Partners can view HPEFS pricing options, and select options to customize an integrated HPE and partner solution for customers.
Partner benefits
- Single system integration – API embeds into existing partner portals
- Customizable - Simple tools for partner to develop tailored customer solutions
- Ready-made tools - No need for partners to develop capabilities on their own
“Successful partnerships thrive on speed, ease and flexibility. Our partners can rely on us to help achieve business results, with expert support and innovative IT investment options to win and keep customer loyalty,” said Tom Adams, Managing Director for the Americas, HPE Financial Services.
