Microsoft gets two HPE Partner of the Year Awards, but you are the real winners.

I imagine this is what it feels like to hit the Daily Double. I’m not a big horse-racing fan, so I don’t know for sure.  But imagine the thrill of betting on the winning horse in one race … and then again in another … and getting a bonus for winning both. Well, a similar situation occurred on June 18 at the HPE Global Partner Summit when the Partner of the Year Awards for 2018 were announced.

POY blog, photo 1.jpgWe first heard that Microsoft won the HPE Global Alliance Technology Partner of the Year 2018 for Hybrid IT Solutions. There was lots of excitement and celebrating, for sure. But then, it was announced that Microsoft also won one of the big two awards: the overall HPE Global Alliance Technology Partner of the Year 2018 – a true Daily Double. And that provided even more cause for celebration.

Why you should be celebrating as well

So Microsoft got the awards, but in the end, you are the ones who actually come out as winners because of the proven power of the HPE – Microsoft partnership. We’ve been working together for 30 years, drawing upon our respective innovation and expertise to create solutions that reduce your risk and propel your business further, faster.

You have probably heard the phrase: “Better together.”  It applies perfectly to our alliance. Together, we can bring you complete solutions that combine proven technologies to help you achieve your goals better that just about anyone else. As long-time alliance partners, we offer:

Four key areas of excellence

To be of greatest assistance to you, the HPE – Microsoft alliance is focusing on four areas of strength that also correspond to critical areas of need for you:

  4. Full suite of HPE Pointnext services and expertise that span the breadth of Microsoft technologies

The integrated HPE and Microsoft solutions in each of these areas make it easy for you to harness the power of IT to reach your business goals.

A special focus on Hybrid IT

I’d like to end with a word on Hybrid IT, since Microsoft did win a specialized Partner of the Year award in this area. The award makes sense in so many ways. HPE and Microsoft continue to work together to create a hybrid approach that lets you select the right mix of public cloud and on-prem.

HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack is a perfect example of the impressive type of solution that comes from the alliance. This is a pre-tested, factory-integrated, hybrid cloud solution you can deploy with confidence, knowing that is has been tested and proven to deliver the capabilities you need right from the start, It allows you to run Azure-consistent services in your data center, providing a simplified development, management and security experience that is consistent with Azure public cloud services. The hybrid cloud solution is co-engineered by HPE and Microsoft, allowing you to:

  • Maintain data sovereignty
  • Run high-performance analytics, big data and low-latency applications
  • Support edge and disconnected applications
  • Deploy applications to either Azure public cloud or Azure Stack on-premises

HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack simplifies Hybrid IT while also helping you find your right-mix, multi‑cloud environment—one that blends traditional IT and private and public clouds to fit specific requirements.
