New storage innovations from HPE at Microsoft Inspire

HPE has been in the headlines recently for a number of storage breakthroughs.  There are also newsworthy breakthroughs coming from the HPE Microsoft Storage Solutions team as well. We have recently rolled out new woosh.jpginnovative new approaches and platforms that address the challenges our customers face. They make it easier than ever for them to complete their digital transformation and achieve business goals. 

The upcoming Microsoft Inspire show will be the perfect place to learn about it all. We’ll be showcasing our newest offerings in theater sessions and demos at HPE Booth 2127.  We’ll also have experts from the HPE Microsoft Storage Solutions team at the booth to show how these solutions solve customer problems and expand partners’ businesses.

Here’s what to look for:

Fault-free Storage Platform for SQL Server

HPE recently announced the new HPE Primera storage system that features an industry-leading, unprecedented 100% availability guarantee. It also provides a fault-free Storage platform for Microsoft solutions. This is nothing less than the world’s most intelligent storage for mission-critical apps. HPE Primera unlocks the agility of the cloud, so enterprises can innovate without compromise. Built upon proven resiliency and powered by the intelligence of HPE InfoSight, HPE Primera delivers instant access to data with storage that sets up in minutes, upgrades transparently, and is delivered as a service.

A key enabling feature is ‘Peer persistence’ that works on both the HPE Primera and HPE Nimble storage platforms. Key features to ensure uptime are related App-Aware Data Protection, 100% data availability Guarantee, and the soon-to-be-released Infosight for Hyper-V. SQL Server Data Mobility on HPE Storage platform

Data Mobility is a key capability that customers often ask about. Traditional data protection, or copying/replicating data as a means to help ensure backup or DR, has given way to using those and similar features to move data to speed Dev/Ops and other operational objectives.  You will have multiple opportunities5 peeps working at table, overhead shot - June 2019.jpg to learn more about this solution:

  • The team will be presenting a demo throughout the event that will focus on how to copy MS SQL Server Data between physical and virtual SQL servers, both on-prem and into the cloud.
  • Theater session HPES09 will also be dedicated to showing you more of the features and capabilities of this solution. The session will be presented twice: Monday, July 15 from 4:30 – 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, July 16 from 4:00 - 4:30 p.m. 

Mission Critical SQL Server solutions from HPE

Some of our customers require the highest levels of performance and availability for their SQL Server environments, and for those we have our Mission Critical Server solutions. Whether it’s a company like W.B. Mason who built their business on SQL Server or others who are accelerating specific data analytics or AI workloads, we have HPE Superdome Flex and HPE Integrity NonStop compute, paired with mission-critical storage such as HPE Primera or HPE 3PAR StoreServ storage.
