The stars of stars at the show of shows: HPE Sponsor sessions at VMworld

EIC_Alliances

By Bernadina Mickey

Time to face facts. There’s just not enough time for mere mortals to attend all the sessions at events like VMworld. So you have three choices:

  • Work at gaining super-powers between now and the event (August 26 – 30)VMworld general photo 4.jpg
  • Try to attend them all, knowing you won’t be able to succeed and will probably miss a bunch that would have been perfect for you
  • Make a list of the best and most valuable sessions, with the five HPE Sponsor sessions at or near the top

I’d like to suggest #3 as your most realistic and rewarding option.

Why HPE?

HPE sessions are your best choice because HPE and VMware are totally in sync.

  • HPE has 500,000+ VMware licenses, making us the global leader in VMware-based server virtualization solutions
  • The HPE – VMware alliance has an 18+ year track record of delivering game-changing results to our shared customers worldwide
  • We continue to collaborate to revolutionize virtualization economics and create new efficiencies for our clients with the industry’s most complete portfolio of tightly integrated and jointly engineered systems
  • Our solutions are developed, tested, and proven jointly. They work right from Day 1 and deliver the results you can rely on day after day.

Why settle for less?

Our five Sponsor sessions at VMworld will focus on some of the most important challenges you face and the most results-driven solutions we provide:

“It’s a Data-Driven World: How to Choose Your Right Data Platform.” - Session ID: VAP1263QU
Learn why the HPE Synergy Infrastructure is ideally suited for solving the scalability and performance needs of your business-critical applications, OLTP and OLAP workload for both virtual and physical environments. This session will also address performance and deployment benefits on HPE Synergy, plus how to manage the entire database infrastructure using HPE OneView and VMware vRealize Operations(vROPs).
Date:  Sunday, August 26. 1:30 p.m

“Best Practices for Executing Multi-Cloud Environments.” - Session ID: LDT3688BUS
HPE experts will answer questions about multi-cloud, including: ”Where is the best placement of my workload?” and “How do I ensure that I have operational maturity to support this multi-cloud environment?” They will also share best practices for enterprises moving to AWS, Azure, and other leading cloud platforms.
Date:  Monday, August 27. 2:30 p.m.

“Composable Infrastructure Innovations: Cloud Foundation and HPE Synergy.” Session ID: PRV2121BU.
Get an excellent overview of how VMware Cloud Foundation makes it possible to take advantage of composable infrastructure to provide on-demand allocation of physical resources for workload domains with HPE Synergy.

Date: Monday, August 27. 4:30 p.m.

“Storage Infrastructure for VMware: Software-Defined to Workload-Optimized.” Session ID: VIN3684BUS.
This session will explore a range of today’s infrastructure options for virtualized storage management from the latest software defined approaches, to the newest NVMe and cloud-ready, all flash storage systems. This will include a demonstration of Predictive Analytics for a VMware infrastructure and how it improves visibility for vSphere, automates support, and ensures higher uptime.
Date: Tuesday, August 28. 11:00 a.m.

“Hybrid IT: HPE’s composable, software-defined, dynamic datacenter vision.” Session ID: LDT3685BUS.
The future is definitely a Hybrid IT approach where application delivery is the focus. Thanks to tools such as HPE OneSphere you can access that approach today and manage your application workloads expertly regardless of platform. OneSphere’s software defined management approach, using REST API, ties it all together to seamlessly deliver a unified, multicloud visibility and delivery mechanism for today’s businesses.
Date: Wednesday, August 29. 8:00 a.m.
