Alpha DS25 w/ Diagnostics LED on, should I worry
Greetings,
Not sure if this is the place to post this but here goes. I have a Alpha DS25 running Tru64 V5.1B PK4. I've just been assigned management of this server. Never worked with a DS25 before.
I looked at the OCP for the 1st time and see that Diagnostic LED #4 is on. This is a rack mount DS25 so it's the LED on the bottum. I checked the DS25 Owner's Guide and if I'm reading it right is says 'RMC (Remote Management Console) power-up done'. I asked someone at a remote location who also has a DS25 and he said none of the diagnostics LEDs are on.
Is this normal or is there something wrong?
Thanks,
Vic

There are 10 kinds of people, one that understands binary and one that doesn't.

Hi, i have this trouble too. The LED is on amber-light, It is allocated by the fourth under the account on top.
Jay Remy, can you let me link on DS25 Guide? I will try to understand in what a problem.
