LTO Tape on OpenVMS
Anybody using LTO tapes for backup on ALpha Openvms systems? Quickspecs doesn't mention any explicit support for LTO on the DS25, but that may be out of date.

Re: LTO Tape on OpenVMS
We use Ultrium-460 drives, in an ESL712-E library connected to a San, running fine on OpenVMS V7.3-1 (ECO's current)
We see an average throughput of about 90Mb/sec, depending on the source disk layout.
Magtape $2$MGA0: (xxxxxx), device type HP Ultrium 2-SCSI, is online, allocated,
record-oriented device, file-oriented device, available to cluster, error
logging is enabled, controller supports compaction (compaction enabled),
device supports fastskip (per_io).
Error count 0 Operations completed 42987025
Owner process "" Owner UIC
Owner process ID 00000000 Dev Prot S:RWPL,O:RWPL,G:R,W
Reference count 0 Default buffer size 512
WWID 02000008:5006-0B00-0028-BCAF
Density default Format Normal-11
Device is allocated on node xxxxxx.
Allocation class 2
Volume status: no-unload on dismount, beginning-of-tape, odd parity.
