Drive mounts through VPN Client


I'm having a problem where Windows 2000 drive mounts are failing when they are connected through the VPN client to the VPN server. The problem seems to be due the fact that win 2k machine tries to establish a CIFS mount first. I've discovered that the firewall functionality in the VPN server causes it to return a SYN-ACK to the client instead of the RESET-ACK sent by the server the client was trying to mount the drive on.

Any ideas??
