We have a lot of audit requirements to have our data encrypted at rest. We are happy with our Nimble performance but require the disk encryption to continue to expand the array.
Solved! Go to Solution.

SolutionHey Jeff,
Encryption at Rest is something that we're aware of as a feature and is on our radar to do in the future (we had to get Nimble OS 2.0, and the future 2.1 release 100% nailed first).
As this is a roadmap/futures item we can't answer a good idea of our plans on a public forum. Might be best to ask your regional Systems Engineer who might be able to give you a more definitive timescale.

Re: When will Nimble have a disk encryption?
Thanks for the quick reply. I have a meeting with our Nimble rep set for later in the week.

Re: When will Nimble have a disk encryption?
Could someone provide me an update on this? There doesn't appear to any good solution for encrypting data on a SAN except if the SAN supports it.
thanks

Re: When will Nimble have a disk encryption?
Hello Kevin,
As stated above, there's nothing we can write on a public forum at this time as it's a futures/feature request. Please reach out to your local SE for more information.
