HPE recognized in the Leaders Quadrant in the Gartner 2019 Magic Quadrant for Primary Storage

HPE is proud to be recognized by Gartner in the Leaders Quadrant in the inaugural Gartner Magic Quadrant for Primary Storage 2019. We are equally excited by the new innovations that we introduced at HPE Discover earlier this summer. 

New Gartner Magic Quadrant for Primary Storage

This builds on five years of recognition in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Solid State Arrays, six years of recognition as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for General Purpose Disk Arrays, and previous recognition in the Magic Quadrant for Mid-Range and High-End Modular Disk Systems. We believe this signifies years of industry leadership and technology advancement.

And speaking of advancement, take a look at these two key advancements to the HPE Intelligent Data Platform unveiled at HPE Discover in June 2019:

These outcomes—including faster applications, agility of hybrid cloud, real-time insights from data, and radical simplicity—are enabling customers to drive innovation, and fueling customer adoption and strong financial results.

New IDC Worldwide Quarterly Enterprise Storage Systems Tracker for Enterprise External OEM Storage Systems

We are also pleased to report that in the IDC Worldwide Quarterly Enterprise Storage Systems Tracker for the second quarter of 2019, HPE demonstrated 13.5% revenue growth in a market that declined 0.8% overall1 Note that the other two vendors in the top three—Dell and NetApp—posted year-over-year declines. In addition, according to IDC, HPE and New H3C grew revenue 22.6 percent and gained 2.8 points of market share in all-flash array, a strategic storage market for customers. It’s exciting to see our focus on delivering a spectacular customer experience bringing in new customers and motivating the installed base to come back for more—all faster than the market.
