Around the Storage Block

Learn about BlueData along with me

I've been a storage guy for just about all of my 35 years at HPE. AI, analytics, and Big Data were kind of a mystery to me. Sure, we could use object or scale-out file storage as a place for the data to land but exactly what is this strange new workload, I am not the guy to lead that discussion. But learning new things is always a good thing, right. So I'm embarking on my own personal quest to really understand this more. BlueData Enterprise AI CrowdChat.png

Big data is characterized by large volume, variety and velocity of data. Traditional application software isn’t adequate to deal with the data set. But value can be derived from the data by using analytics and machine learning. Machine learning is a subset of AI that gives computers the ability to trained with the data that is then analyzed.

By analyzing vast, complex data sets, customers can differentiate their operations and differentiate the experiences that they deliver to their customers. So AI and big data analytics is key to digital transformation.

With HPE and BlueData, customers can have:

  • Faster time to value and significant savings compared to traditional approaches for AI and analytics
  • Accelerate AI/ML & big data analytics transformation
  • Enable the scarce specialized resources of data scientists
