Zerto announces enhanced ransomware recovery in a multi-cloud world
Zerto’s spring 2022 release will include new and enhanced ransomware recovery capabilities for all apps – virtual, Kubernetes, in-cloud, and SaaS – as well as new supported cloud platforms.
Ransomware is an ever-present and growing threat, with increasingly serious and costly consequences. The estimated global cost of ransomware by 2031[1] is $265 billion dollars – and with the COVID-19 pandemic accelerating the move to cloud and more employees working remotely, the possibility of an attack increases.
Zerto, an HPE company, understands that despite your best efforts at prevention, your organization will face an attack. It’s not a matter of if, but when. So, merely focusing on prevention is no longer enough.
Zerto’s spring 2022 release elevates ransomware resilience with new capabilities designed to help you recover from an attack in minutes, at scale, and to modernize your data protection in a multi-cloud world. These enhancements will provide customers with:
- NEW ransomware recovery capabilities for all apps – virtual, Kubernetes, in-cloud, and SaaS
- NEW supported cloud platforms
- NEW secure management layers bringing in-depth data protection defense
- Enhancements to Zerto In-Cloud for AWS
You’ll want to read Caroline Seymour’s blog for details, and join the Zerto launch webcast on May 10th to learn how you can prevent becoming a ransomware statistic. There’s much more to learn about the newest Zerto release, as well as IDC research insights on the state of ransomware and disaster recovery and key drivers for data protection.
