Cache Hit Rate on volumes with cache disabled

I'm wondering why I see data on the cache hit graph for volumes that I have cache disabled on?

I also see them in the cache churn graphs in InfoSight.

Why is this?

Re: Cache Hit Rate on volumes with cache disabled

Hi Adam,

When Caching is selected as 'Disabled' this essentially mandates NimbleOS to bypass SSD cache for any 'cache worthy' reads. However what the file system will still do is read data from NVDIMM or DRAM should the data be residing there as part of the Write IO path. Therefore these cache hits are showing data that may be reading from those two layers of cache
