Citrix Hypervisor 8.x(xenserver) Volume Performance Policy

Is there a volume performance policy that is recommended to use with Citrix Hypervisor 8.x (formerly xenserver)?

It depends on for what a particular volume will be used. Take a look at "HPE Nimble Storage Reference Architecture for Citrix XenDesktop", Data Storage Layout.

In their testing, they used three performance policies depending on the particular volume's function.
