SQL performance policies

What is the difference between the SQL Server and SQL Server 2012 performance policies?

They both have...

8192 bytes

Compress - Yes

Cache - Yes

Set to Offline.

I dont believe there is a difference, it's more just naming conventions to allow you to manage different releases of SQL Server.
