Storage Volume Discrepancies

I've got a data storage volume that states usage is 14.4TiB of 15TiB.  When reviewing the actual "drive" associated to the volume it shows 7.45TB free.  What exactly am I missing on this?  Thanks!

Re: Storage Volume Discrepancies

Hi @jimvad

It may be something to do with the zero-page reclamation (ZPR).  You might want to run the unmap/trim on the filesystem in question to reflect the capacity on the storage array.

Further information can be found here.

Re: Storage Volume Discrepancies

Hi jimvad,

Good day!

Could you please elaborate the issue.

Are you referring to 15TB Drive or is this a logical drve of 15TB Volume, and where is the Volume shows as 7.4TB (which application)

Thank you

RamKS
