I have a new AFA1000. I got it setup and have 6 - EXSI 6.5 hosts connected to it. This cluster of hosts has Windows 7/10 VDI's on it.
I have created a 1TB volume, ESX 5 performance policy with dedupe turned on. I can see some good de-duplication after migrating 4 - Windows 10 VDI's over to it. I see this from the SAN side/management interface.
In vSphere I am not seeing the savings on the volume. My question is should I see the savings???
(SAN shows 126gig in use, vSphere shows 307gig in use.)
Thanks!

Re: AFA Dedupe VMware
That's great! The majority of the workload must be VDI with those kids of dedupe savings?
