Doubts on TG virtual interface from Nimble storage
Im new to Nimble storage. As per my current setup,2 ethernet physical cards & 2 TG physical cards are there.
Hi All,
Also im seeing so many interfaces in network option.
like tg.1.1, tg1.387, tg2.2,tg2.387 etc..
The above are virtual interfaces? Can we create a new virtual interface and point to phyical nic interface i mean tg1 or tg2?????
Please suggest.
Cheers,
Manivel R

Re: Doubts on TG virtual interface from Nimble storage
Hello
I believe you've created VLANs on the array - as the ".387" etc equates to the virtual port created for the VLAN, on the respective physical port.

Re: Doubts on TG virtual interface from Nimble storage
Hi
Thanks for your reply.
I think yes. which means if i want to use another vlan(for example 465),then i need to create a new virtual interface and then should be tagged to any one of the existing physical interface(for example tg2).
Am i right?
