creating a Windows 2012 R2 file server VM with a C: (local drive) and D: (Mapped drive)
I'm deploying a Microsoft file server 2012 r2 with a local C: drive and want to add another drive(D:) from different vCenter..I have checked everything from networking point and its working. but my question is that is it recommended to add a mapped drive in File server for Home drive users..will there be any performance issue? or is there any other suggestion that how can I use other vCenter's Shared Storage in my new FIle server?

There is no issue with mapping another drive within your 2012 file server VM. If you need the best performance possible, I would recommend creating another drive locally and attaching it to the VM itself.
