2910al-48G question on layer 3 redundancy.
I'm setting up a new network and i would like to not do the typical router on a stick setups i've done in the past. I'm going to use either Cisco ASA or Juniper SRX on the edge and then route internally to a layer 3 switch. Router redundancy is done with HSRP/VRRP. But i'm not sure how you're supposed to design network redundancy when using layer 3 in hp switches.
I will only be using static routes on the swich and a default route upstream to ASA or SRX. The connected servers will be servers 2008 r2 hyper-v running with NIC teaming in TLB mode. What's the recommended setup for redundancy and performance. (i'm hoping both switches can route simoultaniously, if not, router on a stick sounds like a better solution).

Re: 2910al-48G question on layer 3 redundancy.
the 2910 support only rip, if you are thinking on vrrp you might need to get a 3500 instead. for you the setup you might need to post a wished topology to make make it simple and understand what you mean excactly

for vvrp to vrrp connection; Two cisco router between two 3500 switch.

And a primium license too for the 3500 to enable vrrp
