Aruba 5412R Switch (J9822A) power module not powered

Hello,

We are having a problem with our Aruba 5412R Switch (J9822A) where power modules do not power up after a re-plugged power cable.  I have to re-seat the failed power module and then all works fine.

Each power module could work fine in every slot 1-4. It looks like a logical issue to me, but i am not sure if it is a bug or could be fixed by any ver. of firmware.

Anyone could help me on this please?

Software revision  : KB.16.08.0001

Thanks in advanced.

Re: Aruba 5412R Switch (J9822A) power module not powered

Are you sure you have a good/stable power supply line (or lines, if differently connected to Switch's Power Supplies)?

Pretty strange to see also different inlet air temperature on PS number 1 with respect to PS number 2...between 2 and 3 °C of difference is reasonable (our Aruba 5412 is deployed inside a Data Center and surrounding air is clearly strongly cooled)...seeing 6 or more °C is somewhat strange.
